    Stumbled on this game, and it's in Alpha stages.
    reading the forums and looking at gameplay, it looks and has the feel of UO to it.

    death = lose everything.
    crafting weapons and armour, player housing, Guild vs guild battles to claim land.

    Looks pretty good, cross platform too.

    Would be great to get some impressions from someone playing in the alpha.

    Keen to give this a go! I might buy the founders pack just to try it.

    Not sure if people still play it to be honest. They drew in massive interest during the alpha and beta but then goofed up the development and made a lot of people unhappy.

    There was a fair amount of interest on twitch. Visually it looks like an MMO version of Torchlight. Most of the early game seems quite dull (resource gathering simulator 2017) but that will all change once guilds become established and the world (which is massive) shifts into command and conquer mode.

    As for them shifting the F2P over to a B2P model, well that's something you will have to decide if you're comfortable with. The premium packs do add considerable advantage tho, and that's something personally I'm a lot less ok with.

    Played a bit was in the beta and when it came live, but for some reason Albion has lost its grip on me. Not really sure why I normally don't mind the grind but something about Albion turns me off the moment i log on.
