Not sure at this point I wanna use both as glass has a good strength to it aswell as a I nice finish but plexi is cheaper and more see through and would display the internals better.

plexi scratches easier, glass weighs more
you can get a low lead glass thats supper clear to look through, its used in fish tanks but, costs more

either way you go, good luck

Sorry I haven't had the chance to post lately ran into financial issues but hopefully I'm back on track. Desk is completely sanded down just needs a clean before first coat of primer. Also got some legs that fit well on the desk!

    Pretty legit question imo,

I gotta say back in my day it was really tuff to get sponsors , you really had to have proven your self as a top modder.

But i'd imagine now all you have to do is contact them with the idea show some proof of concept and then promise to clutter up your work log with tons of useless pics of their products  Always a trade off. :(

But it's good they do it , helps alot of modders.

Yes that's correct it comes down to social media presents aswell as to produce multiple work logs to prove your efforts. We run a Facebook page of 3000 Likes as well as a YouTube, Twitch and Twitter page. Without these sponsors building would be a lot more difficult.

Hey dude, looooooong time no see! Still modding out of the garage out there? Been to your place a few times many moons ago.

Not sure why I'm upsetting you with the choice of board I sent Drew but these are very capable , high end boards we just release :wired:.

The boards fantastic! and it's great that you get a plug for it...
and it's great to see you supporting the modding scene

but 2 plugs in one thread? and tagged on like it's some sort of update :( c'mon.

Sooo much plugging and sooooo little actual modding.

    really disappointed.

But i'll be the first one to post praise again with the next update.

Currently I'm waiting on an air compressor and some grills for the case that have been made. Everything that I can get done so far has been done.
Update was for sponsors there all apart of this and I'm going to be transparent with who I am working with on this build. E.g. logging the complete build with all the contents.

maybe build a template/jig for all your little drill holes. the fact they're not all consistent drew my eye instantly.

maybe they won't be so noticeable with wires running through them.
