    Hi everyone,
i thought i might start a fish swap thread since i cant find any LFS that will take in my BGKF.
So post here if you have any fish you wish to swap
Good to see this thread is being used :) its never too late deftone2k! i would love those loaches if you were in vic, do you think they will let me take them on a plane?
i made this thread so ppl can trade, but due to not enough traffic it was removed from being a sticky, so feel free to bump this thread once it disappears off the first three pages.
Add this thread to your sig so it can get a bit more publicity :)

    {Ma Baker Edit: This thread is for swapping or giving fish away only. If you wish to trade you need to use the trading forums.}

    Cool idea :)

I have about 6 1" long swordtail fry that anyone can have for free IF YOU CATCH THEM YOURSELF :) Im in newcastle, specifically valentine. Most are black or a mixture of black and white (dalmation swordies ?) Also have around 5 bright orange swordtail fry but are less the 1 cm in length so give them a few weeks to grow if youd like to take them.

    Note to all Tasmanians here

[DEL]Dont even try and trade fish here if you live in Tassie as it is illegal and inland fisheries can fine you several thousands. Same goes for plants or any aquatic animal and reptile. Yes it sucks but deal with it.[/DEL]

IFS has had a change of heart/staff so we can give away our excess fishies.

Oki a bit late but here we go

    1 x 10cm Clown Loach
    2 x 4cm Clown Loach

Looking for a new home *sniff*

Im looking for some cory's, or SAE

Anything friendly and communal. These loaches are great value, the big one is more of a night fish but the 2 smaller ones love being out and about.

A bit feisty theys are :)

    hehe

Id happily swap them for a few cory's thats for sure. These fish come nice and healthy, tbh im sad to see them go :'(

I think he means trade them interstate, I think it would be ok if you traded them between people in Tassie though (Someone please correct me if i'm wrong)

I receieved my first posted fish yesterday, was really well packed. Double bagged, 3 elastic bands on each bag and packed in a styrofoam box. Everything was put in so nothing moved around and fish can apparently live up to like 2 weeks in the bags,

They all arrived (dull in colour) but started showing up well when i let them out in the tank (arrived @ 8am, i let them out into the tank @ 5pm).

I'm brisbane northside, don't have any corys. So unless you want a female convict with one missing side fin then I'm short of fish to trade. Where in brisbane are you?

In Tassie your are not allowed to trade fish without a lisense, FFS you are meant to get a permit to transport fish from one house to another even if you are moving house. Plus AQIS will try and nail you if you bring fish into the state.
