    Hey all,
I'm trying to find some 3DS recommendations for a friend of mine. They like games similar to Donkey Kong (hoping to find the 3ds version), Mario Bros, Pokemon etc.

Looking for some recommendations, hoping for a great bang for buck sort of game title (with good longevity)

    Thanks :)

Ocarina of Time, it's a remake and Majora is a sequel.

If your friend likes Pokemon, get them to check out the 2 free Pokemon tie-in titles
    • Pokemon Shuffle
      • Candy crush style, swipe to match 3 or more game
      • 5 hearts that regenerate over 2.5 hrs (30 minutes per heart). Bonus hearts for streepassing
      • Look into HomePass for easy heart and jewel collection
      • I usually waste the first 5 - 10 minutes of my train ride with this.
    • Pokemon Rumble
      • Use toy pokemon to beat up other toy pokemon.
      • It's ok, but I gave up on it after a while
Both have optional freemium features which really aren't required, but can help speed up game play, less so in Pokemon Shuffle.

Otherwise, MM and OoT3d as suggested above.

For a puzzle game, I really got into the Ace Attorney Dual Destinies. Tempted to get the Ace Attorney trilogy next time it's on sale.

The Zelda games have great logevity - even after you finish you can spend hours doing all the side quests / hearts etc.

As above, start with Ocarina of Time, then Majoras mask.
Since picking up a 3DS i have also been playing A Link Between Worlds - very good version, and similar to the iconic Link to the Past of the SNES days.

Mario Kart and Super Mario Bros are staples too. Both lots of fun.
