    Hi guys,

I am currently restoring a Neo Geo cabinet, and of course I want to have it play the good ol games of Neo Geo, however I cannot for the life of me get any emulator to work. I was hoping someone would be able to send me a working folder of an emulator, please note i am not asking for roms, just a working emulator. Any help would be great.

    Cheers, Cameron.

While not having experience with Neo Geo emulation specifically, usually it's a case of studying the documentation and getting the BIOS files, folders and ROMs organised.

I believe MAME does Neo Geo as well, so just go with that.

Apart from MAME Kawaks seems to be right up there.

Why not just get a neo board plus a 1** in 1 neo cart?

    Woah, Sorry!!!!

Forgot to check back, and im in trouble:leet:

Here are some pics, managed to pick up 3 machines, blackie is fully working with the old Neo Geo guts, got about 5 games for that.

The ugly green will be repainted and fixed, and the little pocket rocket Neo Geo is up and running now with a PC inside.

MAME is the undoubted king of them all. Accurate, and full speed on anything resembling a semi-modern computer. Don't accept substitutes.

Ok just a couple o pics on what ive been working on. Spent all afternoon soldering the buttons, but worth the effort.

These are my LED buttons, wired up and working, big thanks to Baker for the help.

LED buttons in action, they look awesome at nightime, and are fully working.

Marquee, gonna be replaced (ideas??) just put new white and green lights in behind it.

This is the inside, still have the old guts from the Neo, and have just removed the board to put the PC in. Just a dual core with a 9600GT XXX Alpha Dog Edition vid card (I love saying that). Very messy, will be cleaned up.
Oh yeah and youll notice the power button is an old NES console power button, was from a failed project but i still feel cool using that to turn on the PC.

Cheers, any comments, thoughts are appreciated.
