    well im consistent
but you say lowball I say offering fair market value. Gaming 5 is not a sought after board neither is 1700 that can't OC to 4ghz for that matter and my offer obviously was not far off what others think it is worth as well.

there will prob be another 20% off offer on eBay in a week or so I will prob pick one up then if I can't get one here in that timeframe.

TBH after all the hype I'm losing interest in Ryzen, although I'll probably still check out a 1700 just for the hell of it. I don't think i'd buy anything but a 1700 though... max cores for minimum bucks, and not a massive difference in clock speed from the expensive chips.

I'm now more interested in Naples.
I figure if you are going to have a bunch of slow cores, then a dual Naples board with 64c/128t might be a decent option :D

That's for sure. Unless you got money to burn or do not want to overclock at all I don't see a lot of benefit spending the extra money.

With OCing even on stock cooling they are pretty close. And its almost up to the user and lottery to what speeds you can get.

    little bit of an update.
bios 1201 for Baymax sucks balls...for me at least.
no overclock would work...all screwed up.

also tried swapping ram to the other slots for the higher trfc but that didn't help either.

so back to 1107 for me, dialed in my settings and all good again.

Doh... One the reasons.. I hardly sell anything anymore..
Time is money... better to go postage instead I guess..

    Why downgrade to a 7350K or 7600K...???

    dude...i just said that :)

    now
    bugger bugger bugger bugger

unfortunately for me my ram will still not go over 2933 no matter what i do.

guess that will teach me for cheaping out.

if you have 4 sticks it is suggested to grab the other bios .

it does though give you every memory setting so it may be i just was not setting it up correctly

you can also change command rate as well.

love to know if anyone gets this running well and exactly what ram they have....getting a little tired of pussyfooting this ram around :0

oh also tried my corsair 3200 Samsung e die ram same deal could not get to 2933 on those.

...also may be my chip is one of the weak ones but i,m more inclined to point the finger at the ram.

Ha we posted within seconds of each other.

I can boot 2x8 Samsung B-die to 3600. My memory hole between 3200-3300 is still there lol.

mine are team extreme 3600 ram and using just the multiplier will not boot 3600 or any of the others.
typhoon say Samsung b die...so not sure what to kill here.

what settings did you use to boot 3600. and did you use 9943 or 9945?

Bought some B-die sticks on off here this week, whereas before I had some of the 3200Mhz C16D sticks and could only get 2667Mhz.. Now I've got some 3466Mhz C16 and can boot straight in at 3200Mhz 16-14-14-14-36. Very happy :)

Wonder if they'll run rated 3466 when 1.0.0.6 comes out for the MSI Pro Carbon
