If you have a bit of free time....

Let me introduce you to the world of Paper Models!

It's amazing what you can do with paper. For all you car lovers, here's a Nissan R390 GT1. The site is in japanese but the instructions are very easy to follow with the diagrams. This is just a taste of paper models for you to get started on. It isn't the easiet model to start with, but if responses are good, I'll post some more great models for you guys to try.

I started building models a year or so ago and I have accomplished a large collection of these little wonders.

I just stumbled accross this model and its so good I must share it with you guys. The Mitsubishi FTO. I've just finished printing off the last sheet and I'm gonna go get started straight away. Bare in mind, its a very complicated model, so if you guys would like some easier ones to start with, just let me know.

Theyre cool, gonna give em a go!!!

Does paper stand up well enough, or should i try something thicker? or even a thicker paper rather than normal printer paper.

And yea, any other designs you have would be cool :)

Paper is amazingly strong in well designed models. You can also use stock cardboard or specially made model paper (probably only available in japan).

In case the ones I've posted are a tad too difficult to start with, here's a nice and easy Ferrari F40(pdf).

What other models do you guys want? I've got a few aircrafts which are top class. Most aircrafts are not very good due to the difficulty in producing them.

    Nah, I wouldn't burn them. :)

But making them with little explosives inside and then filming them being blown up would be cool.

Could make a little movie :D
