Anyone know if this is paint or powdercoat, and also, can anyone in Melbourne help me do it? I'll buy you a six pack in return. Managed to scratch a 1 day old case. Sigh.

AFAIK you can't powder coat plastic.

Try looking into automotive spray places - bodyshops and panel beaters etc. You can't powder coat, but it shouldn't cost much for a high quality spray job on your plastic.

Hey guys, it's plastic with aluminium over it. Might just sand it back and paint it black and be done with it.

Hey, you should try posting over at cooler master forums:
    http://forum.coolermaster.com/

there are a fair few CM reps/designers that are active there, no doubt someone will be able to tell you exactly what the finish is and how to replace it... or even send you a new one, Cooler Master are pretty good like that

Time to make a window!!! Wooo

Seriously tho I'd filll that in sand it back and go for a good ol respray prob with enamel paint, except I'd probably endup sanding and spraying the rest of the case so that the co our matched...

The side panels are brushed aluminium, and most of the rest is plastic. But yeah, I'll probably just spray it if CM can't help me out.
