Similar here, I'm running the stock ICS rom+root+Vodafone baseband and everything working great. Didn't wiped or anything...

Even the battery seems better, but I'll wait a little bit before confirming that ;)

To all the Vodafone GT-I9100 phone users here is a mirror of the ICS LPQ stock firmware files (this is not an official Vodafone firmware). There are three files.

    ICS LPQ stock firmware

If you have CWM installed do this:

    • BACK UP YOUR CURRENT DATA
    • Reboot into recovery mode
    • Wipe your phone and cache
    • Put phone into download mode
    • Use Odin to flash the three seperate files
My phone has had no issues so far that I have noticed.

NOTE: I was on GB stock vodafone firmware DUKJ1

Is this official Voda firmware? Is there a new modem we can use?

    Just flashed to Litening v2.1

Haven't noticed anything weird so far, except for the sticky scrolling.

This is not an official Vodafone firmware, it's the stock LPQ firmware, no Voda bloatware included.

Why would you want Voda firmware? They ruin everything, and then bloat it out...

And make you wait 6 months for the privilege.

    Z...

Do you need root to do this?

No need to root either... It helps to have it rooted, to be able to create a nandriod backup or use TitaniumBackup, in case things BOOM

    What I did:
Used I9100XXLPQ_I9100OXALPQ_XEO to update the phone through Odin in download mode.
After booting (can take a while) I went into recovery and flashed Modem_I9100TDUKJ1_CWM (that's the Vodafone baseband)

    DONE.
Only problem I had was with Google music that I just reinstalled.

I'm using Apex launcher and I'm very happy with it.

Since tasker doesn't want to work in ICS can anyone suggest a good APP locking program. I tried "app lock" but it drained my battery in 3 hours it woke up the device over 2000 times in that time. Just want to PW protect facebook or gmail when the device is unlocked.

it should only have come up once, with new terms and co's, then market will change its name to play.

new naming to better align the content in market to its wider variety of apps/games/books.

Hey guys just got a Galaxy 2 with Telstra as I'll be working remote and need the reception. For the past 18 months I've been using an original Galaxy running Darky's 8.0 and loving it. I'm guessing everyone's installing new ROM's and the like on the S2 as well since even using it now it's newer but I prefer my Darky's setup. So what's the go/what should I be looking at? Cheers
