They are a bunch of dicks, there's been so many examples (under supplying the classic, amibo shenanigans, those are dead pixels on your DS deal with it, we heard you like our old games buy them again, we named the things you figure out whats what) it boggles the mind and now in a long line of dickish moves this is possibly the worst - empty fucking boxes.

Nintendo selling empty box for five dollars

The supply issues with the NES probably aren't Nintendo's fault, who would have thought so many would want a fairly basic old Nintendo Emu, I'm sure if they could, they would have supplied more as they like money.

Empty box, well, if someone is stupid enough to buy it then why not sell it.

Lol, I just like games, and Nintendo make ones I enjoy so I'll buy them along with the Xbox and PC stuff.

This seems like a very emotional thread. On the face of it, it seems like they are offering a product that some people may want for a reasonable price and making it very clear what it is and isn't. Am I missing something?

I don't want an empty box, so I'll use my brain and not buy it, I won't have bitch at the company though, I don't really care what they do or don't sell, just as I don't really care what any company sells.

    Just buy things you want....

wow why did i waste my time listening to that.....

Simple fact, many markets ( including NA and JPN) the switch sells out both online and in store in minutes, so it looks like most people dont agree.....

Why does he care about hardware specs so much, not like he would have any clue of how to evaluate it......

As a Splatoon fan who already owns the Switch, I'd actually consider dropping a few bucks on the box to go with the rest of my Splatoon merch.

I don't see the big deal here...

Why are people so butt hurt by a company? Don't like the product? Don't buy it?

I gave the benefit of the doubt, now you have open your month and removed all doubt...........

I don't own a switch or plan to buy one in the near future, but there sure seems to be a whole lot tears from people...........

you think that empty boxes for sale are bad? in some instances its a life saver.

I've spent $40~ on an empty nintendo box before, and i'd do it again because its rare as shit now days.

Splatoon is pretty popular in Japan, this will sell out for sure. Nintendo thinking outside the box on this one.

And its known that the japanese treat their used gaming stuff with care. If anything Nintendo should consider this for western markets and dominate the repro scene for their old school products

Ill take 15x nes and 15x snes and 15x n64 boxes w foam inserts thank you very much
