Cool setup, but didn't play nicely with a Geforce 4 ti4600 (IRQ conflict in Windows 98SE) so moving it on. Worked fine with a Voodoo 3.

    • Liteon TR100 Socket 370 MATX motherboard, Intel 815E chipset (from a Compaq Evo D300v)
    • Pentium III-S 1.4GHz CPU (512K cache version)
    • Original Intel Tualatin HSF (different to account for the IHS, genuinely hard to find!)
    • 256MB SD-RAM
Postage only. The motherboard and CPU owe me approximately $67pp so that'll be the instant.

Nice machine, have to double check that you messed about with your irq settings in bios before moving this on prematurely.

    I'd advise against it

I bricked my Compaq TR100 doing the same thing

Spent huge amount of blood, sweat & [DEL]tears[/DEL] profanities trying to recover, and on the verge of scrapping it, tried one last thing, which worked :D

    Never again

If you PM your email address, I'll forward email trail from owner of ELVHB.COM, who I'd originally emailed documenting what I'd done

Thanks - very informative. Sounds like a fairly pointless exercise trying to flash it sadly.

370 MATX motherboard, Intel 815E chipset?

Is this the one you wanted to build so badly Buubox?
Does it have to be Tantalin type over 1Ghz? What about Atx size?
