currently on a mitx motherboard (asus maximus 6 gene) and i need an audio solution just to plug my Hyper X cloud headphones into.

it would have to be usb seeing as there is no pci-e slots, and needs to have a microphone input, is there anything not too crappy for around $50 ish?

ive taken a look at $5 ones off ebay but wasnt sure how bad they would be lol.
the ability to drive better headphones in the future would be a plus but not necessary.

I use both the SoundBlaster X-Fi Surround Pro 5.1 and Omni Surround 5.1 on my systems, work great, excellent compatibility (ASIO etc).
The Omni 5.1 has a headphone amp which works great with my Sennheiser HD598.
The X-Fi has quite possibly one of the best DACs this side of $200, if you do some modding and bypass the pre amp.
Both these units will put even the best onboard audio to shame.
