"Storm King" imperial stout. Dayumn!

Wasn't expecting much. I don't in general, when it comes to alcohol, let alone stouts. Most are... shit, let's just say.

I was really pleasantly surprised with that one, however.

Before it was Booker's bourbon but now onto the mountain tea while I have my eggs. Both worth a try.

I literally went to four shop before I found it. Actually went online to Dan Murphys website to check stock at different stores.

Was at the brewery last saturday and they said it was released on the 2nd. $15 per 4 pack or 77 a carton.

Coopers' Premium Lager. Tasty, malty, probably not a session beer.
Scrumpy Old Mout Cider. My replacement strong (~8%), for the discontinued Mercury Black (Out). More of a dry cider than the Black, goes down very well from the first one, the Black took half a stubby to get into the swing of it IMO. WILL KNOCK A HOLE IN YOU!!!

    Black Pepperbery IPA

Very dark with a reddish tinge when held up to the light.
Dominant citrus hop aroma and taste, quite sweet, no real hint of dark roast flavours despite the colour.
    Relatively full mouth feel.
Strong lingering bitterness, with an interesting after -taste and -aroma*, of what I can only guess is pepperberry.

Overall, very enjoyable and well balanced, with no overt alcohol notes to suggest its 7.3% ABV.

*There is a definite after-aroma, in the same manor as still smelling the menthol in a cough lolly afterwards, esp. when taking a deep breath thru your nose.

Super smooth and oily. Great notes but at 46% my throat really feels it. Definitely needs some rocks.

    Pabst blue ribbon.

I gladly paid $69.95, even though I know the same carton sells for $16 in yankeeland.

Johnny Walker Double Black - not normally a JW fan but this is not a bad drop. Nice peat, more than slightly aggressive - but in a good way.
