Next-gen Nintendo Wii U Announced

I got a WD 500GB portable drive and a USB Y adapter (2 USB slots on the back of the system) as it needs 2 to power the drive.

Or get a HDD that has it's own power source.

Same with my Xbone, but on the plus side the system is cheaper and you can get the size/price HDD you want.

Just picked up a Wii U 32gb with Mario Kart 8 included. Picked up Mario Brothers U also. Not sure what they were thinking making everything glossy, and including grey cables...
But never the less, i'm happy. the Wii U sits nicely, maybe the TV unit is starting to get cluttered.

 

picked up a wii u premium for an absolute steal last week! also picked up mario kart 8, donkey kong tropical freeze and new super mario bros u :thumb up: what other titles are recommended must haves? loving it at the moment and compliments my ps4 nicely send over your friend codes/nintendo id's for some mario kart 8 fun

 

Super Mario 3D World is a must have IMO. I have also spent an unreasonable amount of time on Resident Evil Revelations but I don't think that counts as a must have. Trizae and StreekG, make sure you redeem your bonus game before the end of the month

Yay, picked mine up on the weekend! I've got Mario Kart, Mario bros, Pikmin 3, Zelda so far. Enjoying it - my most recent console before this was the Wii

 

Great choice in games, smash bros within a few months too

Have a look at Rayman Legends too, I think it's only $20 odd on the eShop atm...

 

No-one interested in the Mario Kart 8 DLC? You get a lot more game for not much money. Apparently there's some Merc's you can download for free as well.

 

Paid for the DLC as soon as it became available so I've got my coloured yoshis and shy guys. The price for a 50% bump in available tracks is crazy.

 

Was no debate about getting the DLC's, just have to wait for it to actually come out now

 

The MK8 DLC does seem like quite good value. The large wait between packs is a bit of a turn off though. I will probably get it anyways.

 

Are nintendo downloaded titles still console bound, or have they finally got a Nintendo ID setup?

It does look like they are slowly moving to a unified account with Nintendo ID but still not there yet
