Looks like the drone made it to Perth first.

I'm just getting into underwater photography & picked up a budget housing, a tray, some arms and video lights.

This will get me going for a while and I'll see if I want to replace the lights with strobes.

Sick of unsharpened photos. Yeah there are probably free ways of doing it, I'm pretty lazy like that.

Here are a couple of my most recent purchases; an EOS 6D plus an EstHaim leather strap and on my EOS M, a Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC USD. The 6D from here on the OCAU forums and the latter two from my most recent holiday in Japan.

Loving the strap, so comfy even with the 6D swinging around my neck while being a total baka gaijin getting lost in Tokyo.

Body came with grip... have added an S screen which helps on the faster glass, its a tad darker with the f4 and some new batteries as the 3 that came with it were just not able to hold charge well.

Lens was on special and couldn't stop myself.... :D

Ordered a flea bay special flash umbrella kit from China last Friday, received it on Wednesday. Fastest delivery I've ever had down here in sleepy tassie. China will end up ruling the world, but only because we let them....

That's Perth right? Always amazes me how flat it is there.

i've had my eye on an olympus m43 camera for a while.. picked up a great condition EM-5 for $250 off gumtree the other day! pretty happy with that :D

already got a GM1 and some nice primes (15/1.7 & 25/1.4), but the EM5 is soo much more ergonomic. got some crazy ideas of using nikon lenses for birding- 2x crop factor and in body IS is nice!

Just got a DJI Phantom 3 advanced. Quite lucky as I didn't preorder, just walked into my local hobby store and got it.

Waiting for DJI to update their IOS app for the new Phantom 3... A little ridiculous that a company can release a product without compatible app ready to go.

Wanted a strap ended up with 'The Whole Shebang'

So I was after a Slide, a Capture POV and some extra links from Peak Design.

Somehow I ended up getting 'The Whole Shebang' and also found a 10% discount code that worked.

One of the things that sold me was that I use Manfrotto tripods so I need the Pro-plate instead of the usual AS plate. Two of these came in the bundle.

I already have a Lease and I am not sold on the concept of the Cuff. So I will likely move those on.

Also I bought a Sony 24-105 3.5-4.5 lens second hand from Henry's in Canada - arrived this afternoon.
    Initial test shots are positive.
Focus motor is not silent, but at less than 500gr it is a nice light and compact general purpose zoom for my A mount bodies.

Ahha mine came today. I just haven't even had a chance to open the box yet (had three shoots today). I'll play with it tomorrow.

Too late. Bought two x 256 gb 90mb/sec cards. I think that'll be ok since I don't spam too much.
