Thinking of taking a few days off and i found a place in marysville that isnt really expensive.

is it a good place to base myself for heading out each day to the surrounding areas for things like easy hikes, nature photography, waterfalls, etc? or would there be a better central spot?

    any thoughts appreciated :)

Sorry this might be late and not adding much but Marysville is pretty much a perfect spot for that if you have found a place that is reasonably priced

I've been out in Marysville camping, and location wise it's great BUT there's a lot of mountain bikers that also camp out that way and can be very rowdy!

Def a nice spot as a base. Heaps of falls around to look at. Cathedrals for a hike, Rubicon Valley, etc
