Thanks for the suggestions. Yes, the hardware is old, which is the primary problem. Turning off hardware acceleration in Chrome has helped heaps too!

AFAIK B450 MAX are 3000 series-ready.
USB might not be recognised as a bootable drive, might need to re-run windows media creation tool (if you're on windows).
Had a similar problem way back with a R5 1600 (only worked with VGA). Needed to get GPU drivers and BIOS updated before I could use HDMI.
Ah I see that the 6700 CPUs hold their value. This is why.

I liked the game, but not as much as I'm going to like RDR2 on PC. The knock I took on selling a used xbox wasn't worth it (is what I meant).
I bought an XBox for the sole purpose of playing RDR. Sold it when I grew tired of the game (after a couple of months). Wasn't really worth it.
Did some shopping around, and GMG is the cheapest for the standard edition. $79.16.
