looks like to much voltage for 5.2ghz tbh.
how much you looking for?
Definitely, not sure what it was doing but had something to do with software and/or game boost in the bios
lol. The more I email and yell, the faster it's coming. Now in Botany.
Maybe they just wanted to send ours together lol
Plugged another fresh kit into the Z490I Strix Gaming last night, had 4700C14-14-2T running within half an hour. Fun learning new sticks and a new board in one go. Watch out for my upcoming roundup, first 2 boards will go under the spotlight over the weekend.
Speaking of reviews, is there anything of particular interest you would like to see. Will start with photos first and info after.
Main items I am looking at testing is VRM, memory and CPU overclockability and board ergonomics. Will hopefully have a chance for a bit of an OC guide for each given the different Bios naming conventions.
@ 21:39 "absolute trash" lmfao
It would be nice to know if the Asrock ITX board still has the super tight memory slot spacing issues with their Z490 ITX like you have to remove memory heatspreader to fit some memory kits in, this is a problem they have since Z170 ITX boards
Some of my new Build has arrived The M2 ssd on the right I have had for some time not realizing it would not fit in my old rig

so whats the verdict ? I am considering upgrading my trusty 7700k system, its starting to show its age, fans are starting to rattle, system needs a fresh install (its been 4 years) etc so happy to invest to upgrade. Is the 10600k a worthy jump ?
It is worth it if you do not want to go with AMD and you only game, but this product is pointless when there is no stock of 10600K/KF for anyone to buy
Looks like PLE got the ETA of these i5 K SKUs which end of July I might as well wait for rocket lake at that point...
hmm, I dont game that much ... as long as I can get decent rates out of my 2080Ti in 4K, Im happy to change platforms but it has been many many many years since I had AMD CPU.
so what AMD is around the $500 mark and similar performance to the 10600K ?
otherwise I am happy to wait for stock to be plentiful, no rush from my end.
