I purchased parts from OCUK, however the status is "New order - awaiting payment status" is that fine?

That MSI iTX board you sold me was alot of fun  I enjoyed doing some 3D scores with it, went very well for a budget combo.

I dont remember there being a delay in the payment going through for me.
I ordered mine at about 1530 ( AU time) friday afternoon , and not much seemed to happen until monday I to was a bit worried about the slow process time, so it has been 8 days now but on the delivery it is 17/06/2020 as the delivery date which would be 12 days all up , so still waiting.

    I've got this: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/42797/corsair-vengeance-rgb-pro-32gb-4x8gb-3600mhz-cl18-ddr4

Running it all at the XMP1 3600mhz profile at the moment. I've heard this specific ram set sucks at attempting to lower the latencys but frequency overclock should be able to hit 4.4ghz or something?

Also Spit and Zarok- thanks for the advice re overclocking- I can't get it stable at all at 5.3ghz all cores- try and run a Cinebench R20 test at 5.3ghz at 1.35,1.36 and 1.37 and just a get a blue screen.

Seems to be very stable at 1.30-1.31v at 5.2- get a 5680 score on cinebench. (Running LLC at mode 4) Not as good as some of the others on here but I'm happy with that being a noob :)

Just check the version number of your stick, you might be still getting Samsung Bdie on these things (V4.31) though MSI memory try it can recognise the memory ICs and let you choose the profiles you can try for your kit. ;)

Are the money still in your account?
If yes you will receive And email with ocuk cancelling the order, otherwise all will be fine.
Before i attempted to punrchase an Apex 7 fkn times and couldn't get payment completed.

Looking back, i am glad the payment didn't go through :p:thumbup:

    Yeah!
The Most revolting sample you can ever buy!
Shit imc and tonnes of voltage:thumbdn:

It didn't matter anyway, that one is going in to a custom loop to look pretty, don't need to do benchmarks with it

What? Maybe it was a typo but I thought you said your 10900k could hit 5.2ghz all cores with 1.27v?

Pretty sure it's b die as they sell the same kit with different timings for about 70 bucks cheaper. I'm guessing that's the E die?

    Is E die relatively average?

Also tried that memory try it- preset of 4233mhz with cl 18 and runs great!!! Thanks for the advice!

    I did some overclock with 2x 10900k

1 requires 1.255v for 5.2ghz also able to complete cinbench r15 at 5.5ghz with ambient cooling. The other one requires 1.42v for 5.2ghz and cannot complete cinbench at 5.3ghz. No matter what voltages

The 18-22-22-42 version could be anything, CJR,DJR, Rev E D9VPP or C9BJZ and other junk ICs. Just be mindful of your VCCSA and VCCIO though when running memory kits at high clock.

Ah okay. Considering that is this ram kit relatively average then? In the future, what would you look at getting over something like this? I've normally utilised Corsair or specifically their Corsair dominator series stuff

I think it is average or below average but this is just my opinion. I personally stay away from Corsair kits because they do not have many memory kits which guarantee certain ICs (e.g Team 8 pack DDR4/Galax HOF 3600 and above always have Samsung Bdie) nor they are competitive price wise so I tend to stay away from Corsair but again others might disagree with me.

Have you tried some different RAM OC profiles in BIOS ?
Try them all and when you find one that works , you can fine tune it :)
It should automatically cut windows MEM down to 3000 but if it doesn't, may have to go into MSCONFIG , change it and re boot into BIOS .
Worth a try dude , it's all trial , error, crash , reboot lol.

Hey guys just a heads up looks like the new MSI Z490I Unify does not seem to like Galax memory for some reason, my 4800C19 kit wont even POST at stock. I dunno if MSI is gonna help with a memory kit that is not even retail but it was on their Z390I QVL... :(

I will post some results later with those Teamgroup 3600C14 kits, so far it seems the G.Skill 4800C18 kit is overclocking very well on this board compare to its Z390 brothers like its own MSI Z390I or the Apex X/XI. This might be still one of the got to 2 dimm board for memory OC if you don't want to pay for an Apex XII or Dark :D

Rams like this matey are potent. Macsbeach recommended 4266 to me and these are a nice price now. Upwards of $360 last year very expensive.
glenn-23 headin bullants all good with memory would be happy with these.

RGB rams not usually good due to longer trace lengths on pcb. DarkSnipa has good advice on this stuff.
BUT Royal rams doing 4800 cas 14 etc speeds are exception as A2 pcb. You know these they do not like tight timings or you work out quickly they run like shit :Paranoid:
It's what the big boy overclockers are messing with now, gives a tad more performance. But these big kits are expensive

llc 5 is what I like on Apex most accurate. But you must find what works for you, I don't know your board. Other settings in bios + getting rid of power limits
may help a successful run. ie processor starved of energy
