    Wrong!
2 dim board have advantages when push memory oc, you can ask experts Overclockers here in the forum and they will confirm it for you;).
-First Basically you can't buy it.
-Second It's a custom motherboard that Asrock only made it specifically for Overclockers and most probably main reason to mislead buyers that only look world record/Asrock:thumbdn:.

Yeah it's the trace layout but that can be optimised with a 2 dimm layout as the slot spacing is a lot smaller.

Gigabyte are pretty strong with 4 dimms. Hicookie validated over 6400mhz with the $400 elite. I think validations are relatively useless records to have anyway.

    Lol.
    Right!
Trace length and termination impedance. Less load on the memory controller.
What's more the furthest slot from the CPU will be the stronger one as that's what the timing is set from.

Would look mint in any build.

Not for me though, I like to take a stand against overpriced gear unfortunately.

<$500 performance boards used to be the sweet spot, who is paying $1k+ for mobos these days? Insanity. Thankfully there are still a couple of suitable options around.

It's definitely a fun platform to play with, and like I said some boards are still hitting that pricing sweet spot. This Aorus Elite I am playing with is doing 4800+ c14 no problems, has a nice easy to use bios, xoc support and is stable as a rock on ln2. If it had ps/2 ports (for xp) and a postcode readout I'd probably be in love. I could throw $1k at a board if I felt so inclined but I don't see the value in it at all.

The only other board I am eyeing at the moment is the Apex, for its included PS/2 ports.
