The board sure is pretty .
On my way over fleggs place , discuss which board to use for ln2
This is the board you want boys. Don't waste time and money on any MSI shit.
No you want a few different boards ( Ace, godlike AND an Apex ) to try them all
I'll also try that asrock aqua when they come out .
Here I am thinking you are a gigabyte guy
Seems like a gigashyte kind of guy
Gigabyte and the Apex for LN2 so far. I plan to check the MSI Z490i Unify on LN2 but bios support for it isn't looking right yet.
Just cause it's an expensive board, doesn't make them a good board.
I thought you could probably get the LN2 BIOS if you find a way to contact Toppc? He is pretty active in the Chinese/Taiwanese tech forums and I often get the latest Beta BIOS for my MSI boards from his posts.
Cheap boards are not necessarily good either.
There is a bios for them, just not quite polished enough yet. Missing an available voltage that's kind of needed, and 1T memory still needs some work (4400-1T seemingly a limit so far on the ITX). Fix that and it's a cracking good little board.
Depends on your interpretation of cheap. Z490 Ultra is a freakin good example of a "cheap board" done right.
i'd pay more for a board with a 5 yr warranty.
I’m a “whichever board is best for purpose” guy.
I currently have a Gigashat board but only because it was (is) the best X570 board for me. But traditionally I have bought Anus.
I couldnt resist

Hey Bullants , Fleggy is up for it
Anytime , any place .
He was very happy earlier and can't wait.
I couldn't either so I ordered another Apex after using the other one for 20 minutes and selling it .
I'll use the ACE for ln2 .
You have them the wrong way around.
apex for LN2
Ace for daily.
don’t waste expensive LN2 benching on a board that’s not made for it. Especially with inexperience. Apex has the right tools to just get going with less problem solving. Otherwise you’ll just get laughed at for doing scores that people will do on just dice due to coldbug a and frustration.
Bullants and fleggy have the experience
Yeah I was just joking with you, I like them all, just not tried msi....
Yeah, I spoke to him again and maybe 2 weeks time when your back, we can all meet up at his house
Sounds great , can't wait .
Should have the Apex by then .
Not too sure about godlike .
So far Looks like best boards for runnig crazy memory settings are asus apex/extreme for aggressive timing and cpu voltages and surprisingly gigabyte boards for ram speed. with gigabyte mean you need to have knowledge and manually input all the sub timings ecc. for best tuning. Also going with the second option you'll save $. not bad
with MSI you will get better VRM but atm no chance latency to run below 45ms
