There is a bios for them, just not quite polished enough yet. Missing an available voltage that's kind of needed, and 1T memory still needs some work (4400-1T seemingly a limit so far on the ITX). Fix that and it's a cracking good little board.

Depends on your interpretation of cheap. Z490 Ultra is a freakin good example of a "cheap board" done right.

I’m a “whichever board is best for purpose” guy.

I currently have a Gigashat board but only because it was (is) the best X570 board for me. But traditionally I have bought Anus.

I couldn't either so I ordered another Apex after using the other one for 20 minutes and selling it .
    I'll use the ACE for ln2 .

You have them the wrong way around.

    apex for LN2
    Ace for daily.

don’t waste expensive LN2 benching on a board that’s not made for it. Especially with inexperience. Apex has the right tools to just get going with less problem solving. Otherwise you’ll just get laughed at for doing scores that people will do on just dice due to coldbug a and frustration.

So far Looks like best boards for runnig crazy memory settings are asus apex/extreme for aggressive timing and cpu voltages and surprisingly gigabyte boards for ram speed. with gigabyte mean you need to have knowledge and manually input all the sub timings ecc. for best tuning. Also going with the second option you'll save $. not bad

with MSI you will get better VRM but atm no chance latency to run below 45ms

It totally depends on board default configuration, if you looking at memory latency alone I am pretty sure Asrock boards will beat the crap out of all other 3 vendors if you use the same kit and enable XMP without any tuning :Paranoid: The main benefit getting MSI these days is the memory support it is the only vendor I have seen that continues to update memory QVL while all most other vendors do not do that so basically you can shove any memory kits even knock off ones and they will most likely work.

I didn't know it about Asrock low latency tbh.

If someone uses one of those z490s with an I9 can then.. post your benchmarks
