Apparently , SP63 is the norm and that's the chip most people will get .
SP117 is the king , apparently but anything higher than 63 should go well.
SP63 will still boost to 53 so it's still a good CPU and faster than a standard k or ks.

ii may be an indication on how far the chip would go on normal usage like watercooling or air, cinebench ln2 world record 10900k apparently is an sp64 :wired:. People who own multiple chip, reported that some sp63 would require less voltage and hit higher frequency than sp94/98 on ln2. Agree with jjj_c, it's not gospel ;)

On my understanding: to find a safe daily OC on the new intel platform you need to look at you VID at idle once you've apply your overclock profile. if your cpu idle around 1.25v-1.28v then is considered safe for long term usage and prevent degradation. also LLC 8 is not good too, best to use llc 6 (asus) and have a drop under load.

    idle after prime95

this is under load, around 20 minuts prime95

    Think I need a better CPU .
My temps seem a bit high but see what I can do
Just on tick over I know but....
Set chiller to 1 and changed heat block from heat killer (not good) over to EKWB ...much better, hardly any condensation .

What type of stress test this Prime95 is running - Small FFT , with or without AVX ? Temp is brilliant I must say, normal watercooled loop or some type of chiller in use may I ask ? If normal water cooled , how much rad space do you have ?

    that's very low.
Can you run cinebench r20 5.6ghz?
You may better insulate the board too

Hey guys noticed 10850K is up for preorder from PLE, too bad it does not have an elegant box like the 10900K :Paranoid: Price is not exactly great though considering it is 899 and it still costs 879 if you got a VIP/Trade account with them :( I also noticed boxed retail 10600K is readily available on Taobao now for around 390AUD PP, this is just for those who cannot wait any longer nor they wish to pay the overpriced ones from OCUK.

The 10850k will be for chips that don't meet the binning standard for 10900k, and we've seen enough variance in quality there already :Paranoid: At 899 it's a big no from me, the 10900kf will be a better option for the same price if they ever come in stock.

CPL Online have most LGA1200 processors in stock or "at supplier" which still means you get it delivered within a couple of days.
The 10900K is $999, and I don't recall seeing it any lower. One has just been delivered to me.

After trying a few apex and msi boards , my opinion is the msi is a much better deal.
I'm pissed off with all the apex bios problems and the msi just works .
    Rant over .
The best board I've used is not the godlike like you would think but the ACE , surprising but true.

What problems are do you mean?

I've been trying my Apex lately and generally finding it quite good. Still working on my memory stability at 4800+ but that's a me or memory issue, not the board.

The Unify ITX is a solid little camper. Have the ATX here too for running though it's paces but feel it will be much the same.

If you don't like the Apex, Bullant is looking for one ;)

The only BIOS I find good is the 88 BIOS.
The 4 and 6 are not that good , I find anyway.
I think everyone is looking .
Must be more available by now.
Might sell one with a CPU as a package :)
Brand new board , brand new CPU

I gave my apex a bath this week to remove the vaseline as I've finished with using it on ln2

Couple of wash cycles and a little isopropyl later and she's good as new and still works a treat.

I parted out my 9th gen gaming setup a while ago so might put this board to use on that with a 1080ti.
