    Name: 12 Minute Stirfry

Description: A nice quick tastey Stirfry

    Ingredients:
1 cup of rice (feeds 4)
This is the best part, you can use whatever veggies/meat you have a typical selection would be
    Onion, carrot, capsicum, snow peas
can also add cabbage, celery, broccli, shallots, pretty much anything
meat is optional. Good with chicken or diced beef.
Sauces is one of the most important things. I always add Soy, but it can be sweet soy, honey soy or ordinary soy. extra sauces just intensify the tase. try sweet chilli, oyster or fish sauces to taste.

    Equipment needed:
    Sharp Knife
    cutting board
Wok (can use fry pan but not as much fun)
    stove (or use electric wok)
    Microwave
    5 litere microwave dish

    Instructions:
add one cup of rice and 2 cups of water to the microwave dish. put in microwave and cook on high for 12 minutes (this is why it takes 12 minutes).
As the rice is cooking put wok on to heat up (if cooking with meat ad meat now and start cutting up - add onions and carrot when meat is browned). cut up onion and carrot. add to wok. now cut up rest of veggies adding as requirred (harder veggies take longer to cook so add them earlier). about 3 minutes till the rice is cooked u should have all your ingridents in wok and they should be fairly well cooked. Add sauces and turn to low.

when rice is cooked. everything ready.

    Options:
can do lots of different stuff. Lived of this about 4 nights a week last year just added different sauces and used different vegies each time. enjoy

    :)

(its great heated up at work the next day too, the joy of cooking for one  )

Cooking for one is great
    I'll beat that,

    All you need is
1/3 pack of Hokin noodles (around 2 grams of fat in the 500 gram pack)
1/3 pack of premade Woolies vege stir fry mix (already got a bit of ginger in there)
    2 boned chicken thighs
2 0r 3 cloves of Garlic (only cooking for one so who cares :)) and Soy Sauce
    Teaspoon of oil

Soak the noodles in warm water, add some oil to a wok and brown the chicken add some garlic, and soy sauce

Dump the stir fry vegies and stir it around till the cabbage wilts and the carrots begin to soften.

Drain the noodles and then dump them in the wok.

    Stir till its hot.

    Takes around 5 minutes.

Best part is I ate this everyday last week only changing the spices and I dropped 4 kgs
    :D

    Cheers.
