You know I love and respect my elder experienced OCAUer!
In this forum matey I never doubt anyone's experience or knowhow when it comes to OC
You ought to see 16core ryzen on nitrogen. Man it drinks it like no tomorrow.
Run that a few evenings now. I'll leave it set up. The thing limit 51x phase haha too bad
Are you getting a dark?
My friend just dropped a tonne of cash for 12900KS/EVGA 3090TI FTW3 Ultra system.....hes asked me to build it as has no clue just wanted top of the line everything....cant wait till it all arrives to test it out......3090TI bit out of my budget lol.......
I've had the dark for one day and can highly recommend it. love it. prob just the best z690 you can get . Personally i won't be buying one as between board and customs tax would be 1.5k and i can't do that atm.
Also would be selling my 12900ks sp90 shortly
Nice, I always liked the look of them. I'm over upgrading for now, rigs super fast and all I'm doing is playing Elden Ring lol (174 hours in now.....)....
Who cares its only money, its a nice piece of engineering
sp90 and that other board
Yeah it has all you can ask for to a motherboard for. Plus the bios/ os tool for it are great, can tell behind the dark kpe design and planning there's enthusiastic people just like all fo us(well much more talented )
Will next gen Intel stuff drop E cores?
Next gen (Raptor lake) Doubles the E cores
They really doubling down on that arm tier of thinking
Maybe it will end up good but from what I've seen on benchmarks I'll wait.
Been itching to try a incel build for over 6 years now
How does it work any way do the E cores run background shit like Windows and p cores run games? Apparently it's all messed up in w10 with stuttering but not 11
eww actual wat tha fark vomit to my mouth more gimp cores no thanks
Board I've mostly ignored. Toss a score up to hwbot me thinks. More glow balls
Guys, back to the old Windows 10 vs 11 thing. Who's using what and are you having any issues running Windows 10?
I've got a 12900KF and still on Windows 10 as Windows 11 gaming performance last I checked seemed worse and I mainly game on my rig so want best performance for that.
Absolutely zero issues and rock solid. Compared to 9th and 10th gen, 12th feels the best for me in speed/stability/no issues. Skipped 11th gen.
I'll upgrade to Win 11 one day if reports state for gaming it is better than 10.
Cheers. I'm running the 12900K on Windows 11 but I kind of hate it. Works fine but my workflow is so much better on Windows 10. I was mainly wondering if there was any truth in the "thread director works better on Windows 11" marketing speel.
I had a weird hitching/stutter in 11 that I couldn't resolve until I rolled back to 10 which works perfectly. I really wanted to like 11 but it's a clunky mess IMO
No surprise there imo. Hence why I"m stil on w10 & probably will be at least until the end of this year.
W10 for gaming all the way as far as I'm concerned with the rig in my sig, you can't beat yrs of driver maturity & 10 has it.
Swapped over to Windows 10 last night and my life is infinitely better.
prOn going better
Coming from Windows 8 or Windows 11?
