I've got an older case, the Antec Overture (mark I), it has a special power supply that has the connectors and power coming out the same side as it's a desktop style case.

The problem I have at the moment is I'm trying to use a newer Nforce 4 board that seems to require the 12v 4pin connector be present to boot up. It's not an easy task to upgrade the power supply (I'm not sure if it's even possible) to one with a 4 pin connector.

I am currently testing it with an external supply outside the case and it seems to be good.

Are there any options for modding some of the other molex cables to provide the 12V 4pin connector with power?

I'm only running a hard drive and DVD combo drive, 2 tuner cards and 1 vid card with this setup.
