Went for a walk out at my parrents place on the weekend, both my dads and my dog came along of course, they found a stick they both liked and I got some photos of them playing:

Nice shots. But I love em for the content - I'm a staffie owner, and my brother has two. Really like 2.

Really like #1 also - I could imagine them running along together with both of them holding the stick. I love how 'chunky' staffies look:D

    Haha, nice :)
The warm tones and softer PP approach really suit the scene well - almost like a really happy memory

Hey thanks for all the comments!

Yep wasn't all that easy with them jumping around the way they were, I was a little too slow with the shutterspeed to start, then bumped it some more and got quite a few crisp shots that I was happy with.

Thanks :) didn't do all that much PP on them, you are correct with the whitebalance, I did warm it up a tad, added a tiny bit of saturariton, bumped the lights and darks and gave it a bit of sharpening. The softness you see in the fore and background is just shallow DOF :)

Haha that's classic, you should see these two, that's exactly how they are, constantly having a friendly go at each other. They're best mates though.

I remember your thread from a while ago, you have a really nice dog as well, they were great shots.

Spot on. He's insane, my parrents rescued him of the side off the road when he was about 8 months old. He was in a bad way and lucky to survive, but he's making up for the first bad part of his life now and enjoying it to the max.

I love the expression in 3. My dog has the exact same look when we play tug of war. It's almost like she's saying "I'm tired as hell but I'm am NEVER letting go". Staffies just don't give up.
