    Results are out (thanks Ma).

    Peer vote: Aussiehusky
    Public vote: Gua5d1an

The overall winner is deemed to be the winner of the peer vote - so Aussiehusky is this year's winner of the Bake-off!

    Congrats to AussieHusky.

I have my real peer vote tomorrow night anyway, going to make the muffin version of Tall Dark and Handsome, the cake version is much more fail than the muffin/cupcake version. :p

I must admit I'm not in to fancy food much and your cake really appealed to me. A slice would have gone down lovely with a cup of coffee.

My dream cake would be mud cake cut in 3 sandwich 2 together with a thick layer of chocolate mousse and the third layer with thick caramel, covered in chocolate ganache and served with cream.

Yes I did. Sounds yummy. I'd appreciate it if you'd make my version though and send it to me asap. I'm going to do a cuppaforheartkids morning tea. I would use the cake for it though, that would be my reward after a hard but hopefully a successful day.

I'll be writing it up in it's own thread, but the muffin version of TD&H went down *really* well last night. It won the local peer vote ;)
