I did some more digging today and found 2 electric motor parts listed for the singer 9960 machine listed here. https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/s...ist-parts.aspx?sort.ss_cat_sort=desc&index=46 PM35L-048 - a bipolar stepper motor, data sheet can be found here. Its a 24v 0.5a stepper i would think its used for some sort of selector, probabbly drives a lead screw. rs-755sh-3563 - motor 2 is a 24v dc motor. This would be the main drive motor of the machine. So i would think with a strong guess the power supply is converting mains voltage 110v 60hz to 24v dc for the machine. Most desktop printers are 24v as well i pulled a few apart before . Does this mean the transformer combo listed above is pretty good? I don't have a strong electronics background.
