    I have a X470 taichi ultimate and a 2700X in a custom WC loop.

I've decided to for now disable SMT on the board as the temps and Ryzen Masters apparent aggressive per core bursts along with some voltage 1.5 spikes, sends the reported Temp north of 50 when doing very little..

    I've got it sitting nicely on 4.1 @1.2 ~ 27c @ idle.

Gaming ( any game Ive played recently ) doesn't benefit from the SMT as far as I can tell ( 8 cores being more than enough ) and I get a better thermal profile and higher OC from the manual config.

Since I applied the most recent bios update, I've been able to get my RAM GSkill V 3600 C16 to 3333 stable too ( i suspect I may get closer to 3600 with further testing )

Just wondering what anyone else has their chip at and their recommendations?

are your voltage spikes in ryzen master or cpu z/other?
my taichi reads 1.5 in ryzen master but cpuz reads as 1.4, i dont think there is anything to worry about, thats at 4.3 mind you

    ryzen master.
its repeatedly mentioned by the AMD Engys as the authoritative source for info ( probably due to the 10c offset issue ) , but from watching it i can see it spiking to ~ 1.5 yeah..
accompanied by a spike in temp .
