Depending on the angles it should be doable.

Just need all the dimensions and any details about it. Wouldn't be too hard to CAD up.

Can someone relatively close to 6150 please print this battery adapter? The smoother and lighter, the better.

    EDIT: Or in Perth?

hi and thank you for the reply.

not sure how to find the dimensions or what CAD means but here is where i found the item:

    https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4571024/files

    or alternatively;

    https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4179958

^ this if the top part of it was able to be extended to be slightly longer

    * be interested if someone was able to assist and make this possible.
    cheers

oops that information would have been useful earlier. my bad.

currently located in sydney - happy to make my way around if so or also cover shipping costs.
no preference on colour or material. did not even know it was possible for different materials :lol:
apologies, new to the whole 3d print concept and thought it easier to try fix the gearknob with this than purchase a new one.

    cheers

I bought a tiertime up mini printer a few months ago and am working some kinks out that decided to abruptly show up in the last day or so since putting a new pc on the printer. If i can get it sorted in the next couple of days I can take a crack at printing it in abs for you. I'm located near Hurstville.

ABS would be the best because of it's higher heat tolerance than PLA, which can easily go "gooey" in temperatures easily reachable within car cabins in summer time. a "next best" would be PETG, but of the two I would definitely suggest ABS though.

you will find that the up mini performs best with the tiertime ABS - which is actually a mix of polycarbonate and ABS- since they like to print at 270c and have really poor heatcreep management lol, it prints polycarbonate ABS very well and its probably one of the best engineering plastics ive used. prusa has realized this and released their own PCABS blend

ive printed Petg shifters, they've yet to warp on hot days but your results my vary

btw i printed the parts, its $1 of plastic, if ur local you can have them for free, if ur not* nearby just give me 6-10 bux to post it with sendle

That's the filament I have on the machine anyway. I've got some high temp ABS from RS electronics which I bought to try on my older i3 (i was using a microswiss hotend & an enclosure, but kept running into performance envelope issues from the i3 regardless) think has the same ingredients which I am keen to try in case it behaves in the same way. otherwise It'll just go to waste. In any case I am going to order some tiertime ABS as I've only got around 200gm of my 1kg roll left and I like how it prints.

Issue sorted, It was all to do with the end of a cut bit of filament getting in a weird spot and causing new filament to jam to the side instead of pushing the old filament through and continuing the prints. Had to tear the hot end down and trim the stub of the cut bit of filament rdown with an exacto knife right into the metal feed hole.

Maybe I'll catch the next part needed.

I need 3 of these (2.5" x2) drive caddies (so caddies for 3x2 = 6 drives in total). No windows on either of the 2 cases these 3 caddies will be shared between, so color is of no real importance (though black is nice :D), and as they are just internal drive caddies I wouldn't think material type is important either.

    Can anyone help out?

    Hi mate, thanks
I'm in no great hurry, so a week is fine. However m3k has PM'd me with an offer, I've accepted and await his reply. If he feels I'd be better off with you, since you are local anyway, I'll take your offer as a backup :D Cheers.

I'm SE Bayside.. Cheltenham, so pickup is probably not worth the distance driven, so either you or m3k would both be posted anyway. I'll let you know when he replies, I don't mind who does it, and I thank both of you for the offer.
