Thanks mate. Sounds good. DM me with an idea on how much $ for your time and materials.

Has anybody dabbled in the fine art of 5.25" or 3.5" bay PCIE adapters?

I'm thinking about a SFF build and putting one or more nic's on the front. I'm a 3d printing ignoramus.

Lads indicated that models still in work. Might still need a bit of tweaking still.

I'm not local, if you have no one else offer pm me. Easy prints.

Does anyone here print with ASA material?

I bought a 1kg roll of red ASA without realising when I needed PLA.

If anyone in Melb is keen on a swap by any chance for red or another colour you have spare that I might need?

Where in Melbourne are you? I'm in Mount Waverley. I'm sure I could swap you something.

If I produced something in sketch-up, would that be able to be used for 3D printing?

Well first A: i cant believe i actually found this item as a file - because B: its a reaally old 80's iKea table that i found in an alley a decade ago

It has a flaw tho - the injection molded spacer clips for the glass top tended to brittle with age & snap. So I'm looking for a complete set replacement, 10 in all, of this fiddly little bit of plastic.

    https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4880463

I have ONE left - as you can see its in a silvery grey slightly sparkly plastic - but any rough approximation light/mid grey would do.

I dont know the etiquette for this particular thread, as I've never had the pleasure of needing it before - so go gentle with me.

Im in inner city sydney - i also enjoy latte's.

    cheers - BB

I have some Silver PLA that I could print them with, but not sure on its UV stability if its going to be in direct sunlight.

I've done it years ago, I've even sold some things I modeled in Sketchup but it's not ideal and a bit clunky (though I haven't used anything past Sketchup 2016 before it went fully cloud based so maybe it's improved. If it's a one off or occasional thing then go for it otherwise it'd be well worth learning something like Fusion 360 which I've been doing the past couple of months.

If you have something you wanted drawn up and it's not complicated I can do that for you but I'd recommend learning something as you go.
Only my opinion but until I did the solidworks course I sold my 3d printer out of boardem. Now it's a necessary tool I could not do without and have 2.

You can export .stl files from Sketchup when newly installed, it's basically a 30 day trial of the Pro version which gives you many more export options, among many other extra functions of course.

I might be able to help out with this. I'll just confirm the size when I'm on the computer next and let you know. Might be a bit big for what I can do but I'll check

I can help out with these. I'll message you tomorrow to confirm details. Cheers!
