Hiya, does anyone have access to a 3D scanner that could scan the inside of a small (DeWalt/Milwaukee) box for me?

Looking to print some custom item inserts but being able to fit them snugly inside would make it even better.

No, but the boy recently solved a similar problem by taking photos of the object in question and "using AI" to make the model. It took about 20 minutes. I don't know the name of the tool but presumably some online thing, so just another option to consider.

I was looking to scan some Bosch L-Boxxes but found models for them on grabcad.com, might be worth a look

I take photos of the item in question with a steel rule laying on it. Most software has a canvas option (insert image to draw a model on) and you can calibrate its size.

I do it in fusion lots.

For reference - found one for the DeWalt and Milwaukee ones on Thingiverse.

The DeWalt one is more what I'm after as it'll be easy for me to add the right sized item clips to the 'shaped' base, but the Milwaukee one is just dividers for now anyway so that works too.

The Milwaukee pack out stuff is common. Id be surprised if there's not a zillion things for them. Glad you have what you need.
