just throwing this in so you can see how crap this benchmark is at scaling cores :) raw speed wins this.

wonder if there is a tweak to use more cores.... might have to look at that but anyway this bench is going to hide under a rock :p

I think its just too old and wasnt written to support the higher core count.

I posted a link a little further up in the thread. The benchmark spawns one thread per core so having more cores just means you have more threads thus, raw clock speed is the winner.

4th position on your first go. I would call that a great result. Keep pushing....

Bought myself a pretty new 1080Ti and 16GB c14-3200 Flare X a couple days ago. When I get my shit together I'll finish off building the case and fire it up. It will be interesting to see how well my Ryzen 1700 performs on benchies with a decent GPU and the best RAM it can support. I wasn't going to be going down this road with this rig  but the chip is a good one and I couldn't resist. I guess once you have the bug its hard to shake....

My Titan X which are pretty much pushed to the limit, bumped the core speed to 4.4GHz seem to give a very minor boost :( I am not gonna try 4.5 so far I only managed to get my chip to pass TSE CPU test for once.
