    Hi guys/gals:

Just wanted to give a heads up that Harvey Norman are having a 40% off sale on all XBOX 360 games.

For one day only (Saturday 26th April), Harvey Norman are selling their Xbox 360 games for 40% off, limit of 3 per person.

If only GTA IV, was released a bit earlier.

Tried to check out the pdf and got:

You can't like files directly off thier servers...just use this link http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/4209

I hope they dont have their games marked up to 120 bucks :S to make the discount even smaller.

Well seeing as the going rate for most 360 games at HN is about $110, with 40% off it'll being them down to everyone else's prices.

Nah it would be cheaper than most places if they have new titles :D but i wouldn't be suprised if they remove most of the good ones.

thats the scam, theyre generally $89.95 or very close to RRP so when you get 40% off its not such a great deal.

curious to go and grab some cheap USB drives and one of those mio gpses. if they are open before 9am thats good coz im working on saturday :)

So without going to the stores at 6am tomorrow is there anyway for us to check whether or not they will be opening early? They would all be shut today so no point ringing....there are some good deals there, the Philips mini system looks sweet for $50.

That toshiba 32" for $800 looks OK too. Might have to drag the old man down there so he can upgrade his ailing CRT.

    $50 -http://www.consumer.philips.com/consumer/en/au/consumer/cc/_productid_MC147_79_AU_CONSUMER/Micro-Hi-Fi-System+MC147-79

So cheap. Although very basic, no MP3, no inputs etc.

i just went and got me 2 usb sticks

and 2 Guitar hero 3 xbox bundles!! 100 buks each

The marked price was $140, 'on special' down from $169...they would only give me 40% off the normal price..still was about $101 each..so pretty cheap..but a bit annoying :/

almost bought condemed 2 ($60)..but yeh given GTA/wii fit is out soon had to save me pennies

they seemed to have lots of GH stock..including gh2 packs, in Fyshwick caberra

It does appear to be all stores....and it's a one day sale, not a morning sale - so it's still going.

funny when I went there I saw no signs showing any discounts on any 360 games....

And no suprises, every game has been jacked up anyway.

Games aren't really "jacked up" just for Super Saturday, they're always like that.

I work there, but I wasn't there on Saturday because I was away. 40% still works out ok, people at our work pre-ordered GTAIV at 40% off and it worked out alright.

Some parts of the sale were extended to Sunday though, as I was working sunday and they told us that. Really glad I didn't work that day though, my GP would have been hammered because a LOT of stuff was undercost and it would have been a 12 hour day (6am - 6pm)
