oh SyN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *whackkkkkkkkkkkkkk* JEJEJEJEJEJE
Don't worry, Sigma will make FE lenses soon.
Hooorahhhhh for Sigma!
pretty close to pulling the trigger on an A7ii to partner my A77ii.
the free a-mount adapter is swaying me, and was waiting for IBIS as all my lenses are a-mount and not stabilised.
Just got my 28mm F2
Sweet. Hadn't kept track of when these were getting to shops. Interested to see some shots once you get a chance. Prices are a little better than the official RRP's announced earlier. Are you planning on getting either of the adapters?
Massive price discrepancy on the 90mm macro between digidirect and camerapro.
$1299 - http://www.digidirect.com.au/camera_lenses/sony/macro/sony_fe_90mm_f28_macro_g_oss_lens
$2999 - http://www.camerapro.com.au/sony-fe-90mm-f-2-8-macro-g-oss-lens-sel90m28g.html
About time they launched some new lenses.
They must have been pouring a whole bunch of R&D into this to have so many announced at once. Hopefully this wont affect quality.
Going for a shoot with it this weekend, I'll let you know how I go
v1.20 Firmware - Support for new lenses
New v1.20 firmware updates for A6000 and for A7 family of cameras out. Go here and pick your camera – http://www.sony.com.au/support/productcategory/dslr+camera
A7ii gets some improvements for image stabilisation.
I'm waiting for the firmware that puts image stabilisation into my A7R
I'm waiting for the silent shutter update on the A7r.
Held a A7II in my hands for the first time yesterday and i must say i was pretty impressed with it, i pretty much never gave a sony a second look before. Its rather tempting as a second body for the compact size.
Anyone got ideas on good bang for buck manual focus 50mm lenses for A7II? I have the canon 50mm 1.8 II but its pretty terrible
Any opinions on the 35/2.8 or 28/2.0?
Tired of mf, so was considering a small, wide angle af lens, but wasn't sure on the quality of those two lenses...
Try a $50 lens? See link below;
If an old Nikon 50mm f1.8 is decent on a 36mp sensor, it should be very decent on the Sony. It did very well on my m43 with a Metabones Speedbooster. Even wide open.
If the rumours of Sigma making FE glass is true... I Think I will, indeed, pick up an A7x something or other... Would be nice to have a compact FF body to complement my M4/3 gear.
Nooooo don't ditch M43
A7s and an A7r is a nice complement to the m43 platform depending on your needs.
Ditch? Who said anything if the sort?
Complement - as in, round out my shooting possibilities nicely alongside my existing m43.
25 2.0 and 85 1.8 announced D:
Awesome! It feels good to be part of a system that is growing so quickly.
