    Hey all,
A stick of my Adata ram just died and now since ram is so cheap ive decided to buy 4GB even if it means no real performance gain. I'm looking to spend $100 anything under that would be great but i don't see anything that's overclockable and at that price. I am willing to spend $120 but only if the ram is worth the extra money. What do you guys recommend for my price range?

    Thanks guys, Kenny

Trust me you wont be disappointed.
Iv got Hyperx and they oc to 1200mhz. the 1066 your friends recommendation is ddr2-800.
But theyre perfect for your dual core matey;]
At one stage these ram used Micron d9.
Maybe still do but doubt it. But Kingston has been in the game long time long love..
    I payed 400 for my 2 sets...
    So you save heaps.;)

I normally go with OCZ simply because they haven't failed me so far :p
Currently running 4x1gb Sticks of OCZ 667 System Elite (Lower than Gold/Plat)
They're stable up to about 860 but get hot at that range and require active cooling.

I would myself go for the OCZ too, if they have them in stock that is, especially at the same price than the Kingston. I think they may better suit your particular CPU better from what I've read in other forums, as depending on the exact model, they may have better timings at stock than the Kingston ones.

Someone else may be able to pull some links/reviews up for you, as my google ninja skills are failing me tonight due to a bit too much drinkage after work....

Dam MSY is so fu7kin cheap.

I really have to go to the sydney branch some time.

    Personal preference is the OCZ.

The OCZ was going for $150 odd other places this is why I didnt recomend it, but if its for $105 go for it.
