Just read through it all, only my first post here but great to see an aquarium thread being a bit of a tropical aquarium lover myself.
Great work on this, i recently saw an aquarium placed into an existing wall cavity, looked no where as nice as yours, what they did was cut a large whole in the wall, placed a small size height wise aquarium in there, then in the left over cavity installed a large flap so they could feed the fish, change filters etc.
The flap was not finished too well and had a large amount of space between it and the existing wall. Bit of a shame as it had great potential but looked terrible on top.
Cant wait to see the finished photos!

*drool* oh wow, that is going to look sensational!

Cheers for the welcome, many of the guys from the Skylines Australia Forum (www.skylinesaustralia.com) suggested i come accross here for all my PC modding action!

Glad i stumbled accross this area, got a 200L aquarium from the wife for my 30th and have been hooked on aquariums since! always interested to see fantastic projects like this!

P.s. just a side note, photo bucket was not working for me either....

I have that same sort of lighting setup with my new Aquathrive light.

    1 x White
    1 x Blue
    T5HE

Produces quite a nice colour, really brightens up my RCS

    What a tank and setup!

Fantastic, cant wait to see you piecing it together mate.

My house is 99% complete iv moved in and living...

But the builder stuffed up the stand its not 100% flat and even so the tank cant sit on it, the carpenter has to come out agian to fix it, that a waiting game in its self.

Styrofoam wont do the trick? Your going to need it anyway. Obviously if the stand is way out of whack I understand getting it sorted.

no it wont, its got a slight towards the read and thats making the the lift a tiny tini bit at the front. Alsi bottom front right hand corner has been screwed in to hard making it even more of a gap.

Just needs a new base with packing under it to get it all level.

Stupid builders, spoke to my LFS and he reckons builders all ways end up stuffing it up.
