Nah I got working finally! Check your tracker thetron.

    Edit:

If anyone else wants a copy of the 7000 Free Fonts 7zip archive, feel free to go visit thetrons BT tracker site here:

    http://thetron.no-ip.com:6969/

I'll be leaving my BT client open for as possible.

Please leave your BitTorrent clients open for as long as humanly possible. (people on Dialup, 256/64 ADSL and BigPond Broadband or some other ISP that charges for uploads, don't need to do this if they don't want to).

Is it possible to become another seed with the original archive, not the torrent?

Take twice as long, not worth it... :/

I'll become a seed, just don't know how to setup my already downloaded copy as a seed...

Uncompressed, the torrent size would be around 343MB in size.

Compressed with WinRAR (best compression, solid archive, recovery record and authenticity record), the archive is about 147MB.

Compressed with 7-zip (solid archive, ultra compression, LZMA, 32mb dictionary, Word size of 64), it is about 125MB.

Hence the reason I chose to use 7-zip instead of WinRAR or an uncompressed torrent.

Thanks for uploading it to your site titan, we will probably keep both the active.

thetron, might be a good idea to send Agg an email askin him to spam the download link on the news page, then we will get more people downloading from us. Be sure to warn him that there are only three people sharing it at the moment on ADSL connections and that they will need the latest 7-zip 4.x beta or IzArc to uncompress it.

    Cheers deepspring.

I'll setup the shuttle as a seed when I get home.

I think I'll do the same, I have an old P133 system running Win2kAS sitting here that I can probably use.

Setting up a dedicated box, because I like to turn this machine off at night (makes to much noise).

    titan,

Can you edit your first post to include the torrent and direct download links, as well as the torrent download and extraction requirements.

To download via BitTorrent they will need a bittorrent client:
    BitTorrent
    ABC
    G3 Torrent
    Azureus
    BitTornado

They will also need an archive program that supports "7z" archives to extract the contents:
    7-Zip 4.x Beta (free)
    IzArc (free)
    ZipGenius (free)
    PowerArchiver (shareware)

The extracted contents of the archive requires atleast 350MB of hard disk space.

Done. I hope you don't mind me using your markup for all the different links. I'm a bit busy at work so I had to do it quickly :D.

I have no problem with that. :D

I'll be leaving this dedicated bittorrent seeder open for as long as needed while we wait for it to get out into the wild.

Here is another download location for people: http://fontdownload.cjb.net

    Hope it helps! :)

Edit: Will continue to keep the above open throughout May 2005 at the end of which, I will remove unless otherwise requested... :)
