Yes I know, no 9700K 8 cores yet released. Give it 4 months

What this is about. Method on testing the batches correctly. As user bios input can vary greatly.
    x2 tests. Cinebench R15. XTU

Do not set ( - ) negative AVX in bios. If you cannot pass or temps high, do a x49 core multi for example
Basic settings. x50 core. Auto uncore. XMP profile your rams. Power saving measures off.

Tell us your batch number. Board. Rams
    Show x2 screenshots of results, cpu-z for cpu & cpu-z for mem's
Idea here is trying for minimum Vcore Volts to pass the x2 benches.

Good effort there & I did see you've done HWbot scores too  Have you got any R15 & XTU for 5Ghz ... that's the only way we can compare #batches & low volts

Can you pass Cinebench with lower volts? Maybe you could get 1.32V

That's alright then thanks for trying. Cannot wait to try an Apex, your Hero board must be very similar in the bios. I do know the budget MSI mAtx struggled on XTU & x265 4K
So looking forward to that comparison soon.

I'm seeing more people with good results on 0802 bios, I'm not sure if I should change from 0505

I notice your on 0802, same CPU batch as me. Did you ever bench with 0505? I think the reports of 0802 being bad is false, I might have to give it a go.

mils1. Yes update ... if you've seen Headin's screenshots he would have already done this.

What screen resolution do you have there champ? I'm old, but I had to put my glasses on & then use a magnifying glass for reading Cpu-z.
Another Hero board & 1.296v ... going to be popular this board

I didn’t really bench on the early bios as my cpu hadn’t been delidded and I was hitting thermals that I was uncomfortable with
