Here are a few from our Christmas spent in New Zealand (south island) recently.. 3rd time we've been there, absolutely love the scenery...

    C&C welcome. All taken on:
D600s with Sigma 50mm 1.4, Tamron 24-70 VC, Sigma 17-35mm 2.8-4 (surprisingly sharp when stopped down). CPL used on a few..

    1) my favourite snap of the trip, my wife! Taken near Lake Taupo.

great colours and comp, nice and sharp shots. love the bike one. my only nit-pick would be that on a few of these, the vignetting seems a bit overboard - on others it's obviously well suited.

    beautiful scenery!

Beautiful shots. The processing is spot on for me.

Stunning, but I'm finding the vignette on them really distracting, especially on 4, 5, 6 and 7, where the expansiveness of the scene is dramatically reduced.

    ^ agreed with above.

    Vignette is not necessary imo

Thanks for the encouraging comments guys. We'd love to do more landscape photography but it's hard to find the time to travel. We were pretty lucky with the South Island.

We'll take onboard the comments about the vignetting - it seemed right when we were applying it. We might play with it a bit more and see.
