    Hey guys,

Wondering if anybody has input on this particular monitor.

    Good price?

Just for casual gaming and word processing. A GTX970 will be running it.

    Cheers

Ok so I got it anyway :D

Will let people know what it's like.

I also just realised I didn't post the model number, so it's this one: ACEB321HQU

Yeah man! it's great! Only thing I wish was better was its stand. It can't shift much :(

I think that's the same one I have at home-- nice monitor but the stand is crap, I used a cheap bunnings wall mount and its much better.
iirc it overclocked to 70-75fps, but frame skipped above that. I did pull the back off it and take photos of the panel numbers as I was hoping to get a zisworks overclocking board for it.

I always try to get the most out of new monitors... Use CRU to make a custom refresh rate, and test with https://www.testufo.com/

75hz is pretty smooth! If your playing an older game/high framerate game itl look nice!

It does have a really nice image for such a inexpensive monitor.
Makes my TN panel on the another pc look like crap

what is your thoughts on the monitor now? It a IPS correct?(I may be getting my models mixed up)
I'm thinking on buying a second one for kids homework/games station.. Hopefully Officeworks will have a sale on them soon.
There is a very cheap AOC 32" 1440 with freesync that is a IPS panel in the D8 variant but I don't think it has a vesa (or any) rear mount.

It is IPS, and the colours are fantastic! Viewing angles aren't too bad, but I'm finding the screen is very glossy... it reflects glare soo much more than my other older monitors.

It's a heavy son of a bitch. It does have VESA mount, which I'm going to do. Tilt on its stand is hopeless.. It doesn't have any freesync or whatever. Just a plain old 2k monitor.
