What will they come up with next... have a look at these shoes.

    Linky

Complete with gearbox and microprocessor but I haven't worked out if they require a battery(that can be replaced).

What do you think? I reckon they don't look too bad... has gold been done on shoes before? Definetly not a common colour.

I need some new shoes, but I doubt I could get a loan large enough.

it was around the 500US mark the last time i heard i think. If it's overclockable (which it wont be) I would have considered it.

I imagine they would be something similar to the propulsion boots featured in the spectacular Mario Brothers movie. Dont pretend you dont know them :Pirate:.

They'd want to be the most comfortable shoes going around...

How can you justify spending so much?

well yes they are very comfortable, there good dress shoes, and there great basketball shoes. i play basketball every day and every other shoe i have ever had in my life have been from kmart and cost between $10 and 10.95c so when i turned 18 and had the money i decided to spoil myself.

they have lasted me 2 years now and still look just like they do in that picture.

If they had blue cathodes then i'd buy em...

I'd assume they are very good shoes, but thats a lot of money, i mean why buy shoes when you can pay some illegal immigrants to carry you around??

Heh, on a less serious note, they look pretty darn cool (even though i've never worn or advocated the wearing of nike's in my life) and it seems like a good idea. If you have the money and you actually have a need for them (long distance runs, basketball) then go for it.
