Looks like a great days entertainment, gotta love women with a Bren gun .303 and .50 Cal. Nice Spitfire and 40mm Bofors AA gun.
nice shots, the only thing that bugs me about those replica 3/4 spitfires is they look nothing like a spitfire
Was out there on the Saturday having a look ... definitely good fun. Although I heard that the Focke Wolfe had a hard landing on Sunday, collapsing the landing gear and also broke the prop.
Will see if I can get some shots off the camera and post in this thread if its alright with the OP?
Got some good shots there Munkiboy
I was there on the Sunday, and found the spectator positions a little disheartening for photography angles of what was on the field.
(read: jealous of the official togs who were in the field, who are on other forums )
I saw the focke wulf have its little accident, and the painful looks on the pilots and others faces.
Which day were you there?
these were taken saturday, we went to the Dayboro rodeo on the sunday.
feel free to post your own shots guys...
Gradually putting up shots here ... http://picasaweb.google.com/dean.stalker/EmuGullyLandAndAirSpectacular
A couple I got from the Sunday ...
Damn official togs kept getting in my frames!
... No that stunt WASN'T meant to be part of the show
nice pictures there budd.......
Funnily enough, I understand this was raised with the organisers and they are looking at blinds and other ways to camouflage the official togs next year.
Any one got more pics?
Probably would have been easier for them to blend in if they didn't need to wear the fluro jackets LOL I noticed Alan setup camp in the fox hole (or whatever it was meant to be) quite a few times.
It will be interesting to see how the whole event goes next year
