    Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone has recently ordered the airport extreme base station.
When you read about the tech specs it talks about 1GB ethernet ports.
But when you buy it from the online shop there is no mention of 1GB at all.

Is it just a case of the information needing to be updated? Has anyone ordered recently and got the new 1GB ethernet port version?

If you have how do you find it?

See the world they said. So i bought a mac.
the latest model is 1gigabit, however the previous version was only 100mb. Overall the Airport works well and is by far the easiest wireless network setup i've done.

When buying, make sure you specify the Gigabit version.
My wife bought this for me as an anniversary present, and the retard at the store gave her the older model, YES, she asked for the gigabit model.

I ended up having to chase the pricks up, and demand an exchange.

Well thats what I'm worried about.

I intended to order online and while the information on the main website talks about gigabit, when you go to their online shop, all it talks about is 100mbps.

    Which is confusing.

If its the apple online store and your buying new(not refurbished) then it will be the gigabit version.
