Nope, still there.
If the AUD price of a card here is lower than 1.7x the USD MSRP then you are getting a good deal these days. So a 6900 XT reference card for $1599 is only 1.6x USD MSRP which makes it a great deal.
Looks a bit weak tbh , but those clockspeeds, damn.
Miners gonna be all over that.
Yeah too weak for the price definitely...
Any idea what we can expect the price to be here? At least, pre-gouging etc. Wanna know if I need to keep an eye out for preorders or not, prior to the 18th/19th.
Yep agree, should be US$400 like the 5700xt. While I wouldn't get a 3070 due to only 8gb vram, A lot of people will just get a 3070 instead since best case this matches a 3070 performance (but will lose out on the few titles where DLSS is usable) for almost the same price. Had it launched with AMD super resolution DLSS equivelent that works on all games it'd be easier to swallow the price hike.
Of course none of this matters given PCCG sell a 3060 which should be a US$329/AUS$500 card for AUS$849-$1k.
So probably around the 900-1k mark for reference? $1100-1200 for AIB and $1400-2000 for ASUS?
Whats the best 6900 for overclocking ?
Aus RRP should be around $679 going off of the conversion for the 6800xt/6900xt USD to AUD
So $1.2K AUD by the time it hits my doorstep...
Given USED 5700xts are going for 800-900 bucks... it'll probably be comfortably above 1,000
Dunno what you guys are going on about, the 6700 XT will be a normal $700. That's right a reasonable $900. Perfectly acceptable $1100. Total bargain at $1400. Outstanding deal at only $1900.
As a 6800 owner.. Shame AMD doesn't bump the clocks.
6800 vs 6700xt isn't very big.. 33% less cores 31% faster clocks..
So really I just paid $100 usd for 4GB more memory over the already generous 12GB.
Pay for the price of two, and receive 1 card!.. that's not all. Order now, and you'll also receive a FREE 3 month waiting period. But what, there's more! Order today and you'll go into the lottery to be picked and possibly receive 1 of the 50 cards made on launch, exclusive to you!
The reference 6800 at launch went for AU$949 (US$579)
So using the same math a 6700xt might be AU$785?
Even the cheapest 3070s are around $950. If 1440p performance is on par, and there's reference stock should be a good option.
Which is over priced
You wont find any near that now.
When is 6700XT due out?
18th is the US date, so 19th here?
I suspect once the retailers get more info we'll have a launch time set.
