But, if they knew then what we know now, it makes sense why they shit themselves and pulled the launch so far forward.
    Thanks. Fixed it up.

Yeah got it wrong myself in the RTX 3000 series thread too. I swear I saw $550, and not $580 :Paranoid:

Been rock solid for me the entire time I've owned my 5700xt

And yeah, I love the slide showing that they're smaller than ampere, use less power and perform the same or better depending on scenario

It's an absolute win and exactly what we were hesitantly hoping for.

You are going to get a lot of different answers on that and they are hard to be certain about in a lot of ways but for myself I have had no problems with AMD or Nvidia drivers for a long time. Right now I run a 1080Ti and before that I ran Crossfire 7970's.

You will get a lot of varied opinions on this so be ready to sift through a lot of crap.

So we can expect roughly $1599, $899 and $699 RRP.

But with all the people jumping ship, we can expect the SBMP (Scalper Bullshit Markup Price) to be roughly $2099, $1,499 and $899.

    Too rich for me.

Honestly I haven't had any issues with the drivers on my 5700xt since January. Same was reported from the Hardware Unboxed guys. The rumors were that the drivers were functional but the transition from GCN to RDNA1 was not as smooth as expected and some batches of hardware had faults that needed to be mitigated in software.

I suspect that's part of the reason they kept delaying ROCm for Navi.

So even with Aussie tax we could see 3090 beating performance for $1700ish?

Historically, I've always had about the same number of troubles with AMD and Nvidia drivers. I haven't owned an AMD card from the RDNA architecture though so my AMD knowledge is a bit old.

Let's wait for real reviews. More so the bump is combined GPU OC and the and cpu men features.. we will see I still don't think you will get to anything but single digits in the lower end of cpu gains at 4k

There's no chance in hell the price of the 3090 doesn't tumble after this, the early adopters are gonna be bleeding from the anus for days

Gonna be interesting to see just how inflated that price really was (on the 3090)

More likely the AMD cards will Skyrocket to 3090 levels, at least for a couple of months before things settle down.

Reasonable non-sensationalist look at the announcement.

Regarding the CPU/GPU features that people are talking about that may skew the benchmarks, he actually details (and I admit I didn't realise) that the 6800 benchmarks are without the help of either Smart Access Memory (SAM) or RAGE mode (lol). 6800XT benchmarks have SAM enabled, and the 6900XT benchmarks have both SAM and RAGE mode (lol) enabled.

Make of that what you will.

AUD1700 - AUD1900 depending on model, retailer, etc.
And if you had been able to HTFU and watch the release you would know that is so last page :p.

They aren't gonna be $3,000 like the 3090 is I'm pretty confident of that
