Nah post away...just don't hotlink images, host them yourself or use a picture hosting service....

I don't know many of these they will make, but i'd be surprised if we see a lot in the retail channel.

So its another black edition cpu, but with higher clocks out of the box? Similar to the Extreme Edition cpus with intel...

OCing overhead is quite good, so I am guessing 3.4 GHz out of the box...

Good way for AMD to make some profit by introducing high margin products such as this one.

The rumour has it: AMD picks the best chip in each wafer to qualify for the TWKR label.

...One criteria of selection appears to be able to withstand high core voltages.

Time will tell if this is actually true.

If the default speed is in the mid 3's I could be tempted however I dare say it will be too expensive for my budget.

I dont think these are for retail.. probably special OEM, and for privilaged OCers to set records on an so forth.

    Good marketing

    Seconded

It'll be good to see faster models as AMD's (ahem GlobalFoundry's) 45nm process improves

Hmm, now we see the bigger picture ty. The 2nd link via the Edit, may never be enough of them for general release :(,

However, this is truly great advertising & promotional tool  Exactly what AMD need ;) Big Kudos to them.

The packaging alone is enough incentive to buy it :D

Probally buy two, one to use and one to keep in the box and admire.
