Doesn't seem to be a consolidated Radeon RX thread? Or I missed it.. anyway:

AMD unveiled the Radeon RX 590 recently, refreshing the existing RX 580 line by moving to 12nm and boosting the clock speeds. This is a mid-range card that is competing with NVIDIA's GTX 1060. To see how it fares, check out these reviews from around the web:

The 580 on sale with two games looks tempting though!

Well kinda true but Its beats the 1060, has freesync, perfect for 1080p gamers and it shakes up the market a bit. Ya should be thankful AMD are even bothering with gpu's for pc gaming cause if they weren't nvidia would be asking even more money, Santa is leaving coal in your sack this year lmfao.

No pressies for me, all for kids.

Yeah it is a decent 1080p 144hz card paired with a cheap FreeSync panel (verse gsync)

It's just a shame it's near impossible to compete with Nvidia high end..

It’s going to suck high end till amd have money and resources or get a large scale contact to bring out a gpu to compete on the high end. The launch of next gen consoles will bring something I hope to shake NVIDIA prices

Current consoles didn't seem to help amd though. Hopefully something happens. Be nice to have cheaper FreeSync monitor option (with a highly capable 1440p 144hz AMD card)

RX 590 is perfect for 1080p freesync gaming

    RX 590 + 144Hz freesync + 8600K + Z370 + 16GB ram + SSD NVMe = nearly whole comp for the price Nvidiot charge for a 2080 Ti…………..no brainer for the sane really.

my old fury x is fast...hell my fury nano which my daughter is still suing is faster. a rx 56 is only what 100 more and stomps it.
it really is not a good idea the only things is less power used than a 56 but from what I have seen not that much.
    then again
some of the cards the 56 uses less..
so yeah considering I got my daughter a asus 4gig 580 for 240 brand spankers.... I think this is a filler episode with not much character development :) I can wait for the next nasty piece from amd I am sure my 64 will hang in there :) auto undervolting is fun :p

My next GPU will be an RX. It will be either a 570 or 580, 8GB. Not a huge lot of difference between them performance or price wise, if you are looking at the 8GB 570 rather than the 4GB. A 590 is only a further increment in performance, but at a substantial increase in price. Not enough to justify the extra money IMHO. The sweet spot is definitely the RX 580 8GB, better performance than a 6GB 1060, supporting Freesync instead of overpriced GSync as well, and cheaper. RX 570-580 cards are the best bang for buck on the market right now, by far.

I can't see myself shelling out for a 590, it would be better to save the bucks and get a 580, at least until Navi drops.
