Any preference on the AIB models that we know about so far?

The Sapphire looks great and not too bulky IMO, the red devil one looks massive

I'll believe that if we can easily buy these AIB RX 6800 XTs. For now though, I'm bracing myself for another round of disappointments.

I'm sure AMD said it as well but stuffed it I can remember where.

Personally I'm looking at the Sapphire Pulse, should be one of the cheapest with 3 DP which is what I need. Not to worried about the cooling, I'm gonna slap a waterblock on it under a dedicated AIO :leet:.

Not that I have the money for a card atm :p.

I'll add a few to my growing collection of GPU pre-orders. Perhaps I'll hit the $10,000 mark worth of pre-orders by the end of the year. At least $10,000 worth of disappointment.

There's a Gigabyte 6800 available at PLE. Can't order online though, just says In stock in Eastern States. With VIP, it's $939.

To be honest, with every other release this year it's looking likely. But...

    Current rumours having AIB cards:
    6800: $700 USD
    6800 XT: $800 USD

Possibly adding an extra $50 USD buffer to those.

    Guess we'll be seeing AIB 6800 XT $1300 - $1500 AUD.

Yeah my feelings too. I think the next couple of months will be chasing unicorns. And those of you getting cards shipped... well I'm jelly!

I'd guess majority between $1100 and $1300 for XT's. Can only see specialty cards like Strix, and water cooled ones being over that. Least I hope so anyway lol.

That sounds about right. AIB cards are usually up to $400 - $500 more than reference for the top end crazy ones. $1300 is a little higher for the cheaper ones though.

Only what a day left before we know for sure.

Edit, I'm betting that Asus 6800 XT LC will be $1500 or more, the AIO cards always cost a stupid amount .

Do people prefer AIB cards over Reference? Or the other way around?
My case will only fit <285mm, and all the AIB's are too long.

I'm tempted to try my luck on Thursday, grab any XT I can get my hands on, and hope someone will trade me for a reference card? Good or bad idea?

I thought even the reference cards were longer than 28cm?

Edit: I was wrong... Length: 267 mm

    Noice!
